Ulbrich Opens Precision Flat Wire Facility Hong Kong
Ulbrich Opens Ulbrich Precision Metals Asia Photovoltaic Facility:
Ulbrich Stainless Steels & Special Metals, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of Ulbrich Precision Metals Asia in Hong Kong. This manufacturing facility provides solarcell tabbing and string interconnect for the solar industry.
It becomes the fifth photovoltaic manufacturing facility of Ulbrich and it is set up to product over 500MW of materials. It becomes part of the Ulbrich Specialty Wire Group. The other photovoltaic production divisions are in South Carolina and Pennsylvania USA, Ireland and Austria.
The combined divisions yield more than 3,000MW capacity and the Hong Kong facility is set up to better service our customers throughout Asia.
This is the second Hong Kong facility that Ulbrich has opened with the first supplying stainless steels and special metals in strip, foil, flat, fine and shaped wire products.
